從年輕就開始參與社會運動的工人吳農過死了，為什麼死？為誰而死？市長周廣程為了自己的總統之路，開始清除障礙，市刑大小隊長李東權為破案卻反而拿到升官籌碼，身為吳農過的女兒，吳亞力該如何面對複雜的政治世界？一場「權力過程」就在這四人之間展開。

A blue-collar worker and former activist’s death unexpectedly draws his daughter into a political intrigue. Meanwhile, Mayor Chou is clearing up the obstacles in his race for the presidency. Lee, the third squad leader of Criminal Investigation Division endeavors to solve the case to gain political leverage. The entanglements among the four drive them to the heart of an intricate power game…
