獨居的米薩鎮日蒐集書報舊物，幾十年來累積的收藏卻是他人眼中的垃圾，鄰居以公共安全為由，逼迫米薩清空他的家。行動不便的米薩找來管理員阿里幫忙搬移至地下室，阿里意外發現這些收藏的價值，他會如何處置呢？《瞭望我的悲傷》導演改編自親人真實經歷的首部長片，深入伊斯坦堡各個角落，充滿感情的辯證文化記憶與價值的關係。

The film tells the story of Mithat, a compulsive hoarder, and Ali, the concierge of the building where he lives in. When the neighbors decide to have the building rebuilt with the threat of an earthquake and the wish for a more valuable property, Mithat’s most challenging struggle to save his collections begins. The building becomes the common destiny of these two men living alone.
