美蘭決定到對面的城市找「真的爸媽」，她能到得了嗎？而美蘭的媽媽，為了識字到社區小學上課，卻都無法準時交作業，這次的回家作業，能順利完成嗎？

Mei-Lan is an elementary schoolgirl who doesn’t like her parents and prefers to believe she is adopted. Prompted by an overactive imagination, she makes a deal with her best friend to find their real parents in the city across the river. Will they succeed?
