艾特克斯的第三部長片，片中四個段落均由他本人粉墨登場，扮演貫穿全場的冷面笑匠「皮­耶」，一針見血的道出現代生活不健康的本質。在第一段〈睡不著〉中，失眠的他在深夜讀­著吸血鬼小說，待他讀倦闔起書本後，枕邊人已不再是枕邊人⋯⋯。其餘三段〈電影院〉、­〈祝君健康〉和〈鄉村的一天〉，同樣都是幽默趣味的小段喜劇。

Four playful vignettes that dramatize the anxieties of modern life: a man reads vampire novel beside his sleeping wife but cannot seem to separate reality from fiction; a simple afternoon at the movies becomes a consumer-culture assault; a jarringly noisy city keeps its population on edge; and the bickering between a picnicking couple and a farmer escalates into hilarious gunfire and electrocution.
