鍾愛部落傳統文化的藝術家撒古流離開家園多年後，不忍見家鄉在八八風災中所受的重創與苦難，在族人的請求之下毅然回鄉扛起災後重建的領導重任。然而在個人理想與傳統觀念之間，新舊溝痕與衝突逐漸顯現，面對自身的「安身立命」與大環境的使命，他該如何取捨？背後依循的價值又是什麼？而人有選擇的權利嗎？

Sakuliu is a Paiwan artist who treasures his tribal traditional culture. After leaving his village for many years, he returns to help rebuild his hometown after Typhoon Morakot. However, conflicts between personal vision of the new generation and traditional thinking gradually surface as rehabilitation process moves on…
