蘇菲擁有九頂假髮，每頂都代表她的某一部分：焦慮的她、感性的她、總是大笑又狂野的她、內向的她、愛做夢的她……。這九頂假髮也是她對抗病魔的象徵。芳齡21歲，青春炙手可熱，不甘臥病在床，她決心豁出去！她要照樣戀愛、做愛、party，享受繽紛人生。改編自真人實事，導演曾以《帝國大審判》入圍奧斯卡外語片獎。

Sophie is twenty-one when she is diagnosed with cancer. Her world is reduced overnight to the sterile confines of a hospital. As wigs become a crucial part of her new life, she reclaims a sense of self-expression. Each of the wigs makes her feel different and gives her a distinct personality. There's a bit of Sophie in all of them, and they reveal as much as they hide.
