哈雪兒是個怪女孩，她有個歇斯底里的古板媽、老愛談集中營的老爸，還有不愛開口的時髦阿嬤。直到瓦樂希的出現，帶她衝破家庭規範，跟蹤老師並發現她的偷情祕密，還教她講髒話！這個新朋友不但改變了哈雪兒，也衝擊她的家庭。影片漾滿童真趣味，展露法國人浪漫自由的天性，兩大女星伊莎貝拉羅塞里尼與艾格妮夏薇皆有精彩演出。

Nine-year-old Rachel feels like an outsider on her first day of school. She wants nothing more than to join the popular girls, but is instead befriended by eccentric Valérie. When Rachel’s morose family meets Valerie’s carefree single mom, their different lives start to intersect.
