土屋豐以震驚社會的真實事件為底，突破改編的極限。高中少女以化學劇毒「鉈」毒殺母親，並以網路日誌記錄過程。變態的是她？還是身為旁觀者的你？又或者是整個社會？本片的手持運鏡營造出強烈寫實感，敘事結構大膽新穎，藉由單一事件，綜述了生物科技、人類的自我省視、商業化社會等當代主題，論述富涵哲思，犀利解剖現實，刀刀見血！

Based on an appalling incident in Japan, where a teenage girl attempts to poison her mother with thallium in 2005, the film is a controversial work of meta-fiction which questions our reality from an incisive perspective. The girl who poisons her mother is portrayed as an innocent observer who reconstructs and transcends our modern-day malaise.
