艾嘉和哈馬因拍片結識，迅速墜入愛河，電影殺青後各自返鄉。哈馬因戰火被困在家鄉伊拉克，只能藉自拍影片向艾嘉表訴思念；艾嘉被哈馬的情意撼動，她踏上旅程，只為了確認兩人的愛。隨著美軍入侵，伊拉克邊境被戰火封鎖，受困在陌生之境的她困惑著：這一趟為愛走天涯的迢迢之旅，究竟能否見到愛人？本片從戰火邊境的角度，藉由愛情故事，描寫土耳其身處亞歐交界、與西亞國家間明顯的文化差異。

Ayça, a Turkish actress meets and falls in love with Hama Ali, a local star in Iraq, at a film set. Yet they are forced to part their ways as the film crew moves on to a different location. They continue to correspond with each other through phone calls and video love letters. Then things take a dramatic turn with the beginning of war in Iraq. Worried about Hama Ali, Ayça starts her journey to meet him…
